We are Family-- Bollywood Movie

Gambar
If you’re longing for a Bollywood Movie, telling about family story, then I’ll be gladly recommending you to watch   “we are family” . It’s just another great movie that I watched last week... this movie is really touching.. I believe you’ll cry a lot after watching and learn something about life from this movie.. With background of Hindi family, taking place in Sydney Australia, this worth seeing movie starts its story.. It’s not the story of  a complete family but a divorced family living in a harmony.. Aman (the handsome Arjun Rampal) and Maya (Kajool-Anjali Sharma in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) have already divorced. They live their broken family by keeping their love for their three children; Alya (the little Anjali in KKHH) , Ankush and Anjali. They try to make it ballance by taking care of their kids regularly. The kids live with their mom but every weekend they go to their dad’s home.  Aman has got a girlfriend. He’s been with the girl for three years and is going to marry her. Be

Someday

Gambar
It's just a simple video that I made today... a journey of my life.. enjoy watching!! "Someday" (Celtic Wowan Lyrics) Someday, when we are wiser, When the worlds older, When we have learned.... I pray someday we may yet, Live to live and to let live. Someday, life will be fairer, Need will be rarer, And greed will not pay. Godspeed this bright millennium, On its way, let it come someday. Someday, our fight will be won and, We'll stand in the sun in, That bright afternoon.... 'Til then, on days when the sun, Is gone, we'll hang on, If we wish upon the moon. There are some days, dark and bitter, Seems we haven't got a prayer, But a prayer for something better, Is the one thing we all share. Someday, when we are wiser, When the whole world is older, When we have love, And I pray, someday we may yet, Live to live and oneday, someday... Someday, life will be fairer, Need will be rarer, And greed will not pay. Godspeed, this bright millennium, Let it co

--Hard Worker Gonna Be--

Considering the need of more savings in my deposit I finally decided to find other part time job.. yeah..i know it sounds a little bit crazy coz I will have no time to take a nap.. my school finishes at 2.30pm and it takes at least 15 minutes to get home so sometimes I take a nap for 1 hour or 30 minutes if I have other activities in the afternoon.  I've been praying for this till finally a good news come.. my senior asked me to apply for a part time job, being an English instructor in Supermath.. at the first time I got this information I was doubt whether I'd apply or not coz my best friend would apply too. I just thought that she is the one who deserves it not me.. so I didn't apply.. however, I made up my mind. my friend told me that they need more instructors. I was still considering it till I went to the final that I gotta work two times harder if I wanna reach my dream.. then I applied. till today I still blame myself for making this decision. I dont know whether

Sheila On 7 'Buat Aku Tersenyum'

Gambar
Suddenly I recall of an old song by a group band from Indonesia-Sheila on 7 'Buat Aku Tersenyum' (in English; 'make me smile'). When I listened to this song for the first time, I was about in junior high school and I was freaking interested in this song.. I love both its lyrics and music.. It's so easy listening... Tonight I still remember this song and it reminds me on the green of my life... we've not had regular contact on phone for almost a week.. Yeah, I sent him some texts just to say good night so did he, yet it was just too flat... I miss our time when we debate so many things, when my anger was about to explode and he listened to me, trying to calm me down... I miss him for giving me a shoulder when I am too tired to look up... I wish he would be thinking the same....so whenever my heart sings a love song, he would be able to listen to the song, there, in thousand miles that separate us.. datanglah sayang dan biarkan ku berbaring ( come dea

A Note on 16th August 2011

wise man says that life is the best lesson for those who learn it day by day... (who has this statement?! i dont know....lol). you face so many things everyday, the wanted and unwanted things happen, days flow like a river flows, it blows and you still question where it goes... today, the 16th August 2011, a day before my beloved nation's Independence Day i find some great lessons about what the days of Indonesia might possibly become and what i am supposed to do  as an Indonesian girl who desires for a healing for my Indonesia... the first one goes as the following.......... This morning i had to accompany my student to meet the mayor of Kupang in his office. my student is one of the lucky students who got the chance to be the teens ambassador that will visit ASEAN nations; Singapore, Thailand and Philippine. so we went there. there is also another school (only two schools in Kupang attend this program) who sends their student, and the school is my former secondary school

"Wooden Bridge"

Gambar
this afternoon i and my friend--kid servant- went to lead the kid fellowship in group 4 of the ministry territory in my church. the location is in the other side of a river. actually there's a road to reach that place which takes 15 minutes walking but if we cross the river it takes only few minutes to get there. so, we always take the latter. Nevertheless, the road we have to go through to reach the other side of the river is very challenging. there is no bridge to cross the river, only a piece of wood that fell down because of the storm which is used as the bridge to link one side to the other side of the river. the surface of the wood is not flat as it is wood so we have to be extremely careful to cross unless we lose our balance and fall down. but what really surprises me is when i saw the children walk along the wood with one hand carrying their bike and the other hand holding the handle of the wood (they make handle on right side of the wood to enable us crossing). it is very

the draft

Gambar
how many times have you experienced this situation? you want to text others but you think too long and when you want to send the text you find that it's too late coz the person you wanna text has got the text containing information she/he needs from others....then what you do is to save it as a draft... draft..yup, that's the place where unsent texts or ideas being stored. Today i also have this embarrassing experience. it's not about texting someone but my idea to help the old woman and her grandson. the story begins when i went to having lunch with my friends in a small cafe near the school. my friend wanted to have 'nasi campur' for lunch but i ordered chicken noodle. the cafe where we went doesnt have chicken noodle but there's another seller next to the cafe sells. the place isn't like a house. just a tent with chairs and table, so my friend asked me to sit in the cafe but ordered the noodle outside. i agreed. i ordered first and then we entered t

The Reason of calling God Father

Gambar
if there's a thing to make 'us' (read; me n my boyfriend) close, i wouldn't think it hard to tell you that it's only because of the times we spend for debating.. yup, that's the funniest fact about my relationship. we hardly have the same opinion about things around us or the way we see life. i wonder how we can still be 'together' till today, if it's not a miracle?? lol we always argue for everything.. even if we have the same opinion, it's really difficult to memorize what it is about coz all that i keep in my long term memory is all things that we argue. :) last week we discussed a topic that eventually went to the hottest one "why do Christian call God 'Father'? it started when we talked about our tradition in East Nusa Tenggara especially on traditional proposal ceremony. this proposal usually happens a day before the wedding day. i told him that i like the way people in our tribe do for this ceremony. they always hide

Special Moments with Kyrieleison

Gambar
One of the parts in my life that i love the most is when i spend my time with my vocal group "Kyrieleison". the first time i joined this group was in 2007, a year after i entered university. my friend 'k Gesty' asked me to join coz her group was in a need of more personnel. lucky me,,, i was asked..lol actually i ever participated in some gospel singing contests but hardly got the first position. the best achievement in singing contest is when i was in senior high school, i could be the finalists that went to final. however, i have to admit that other singers were much better than me. i just need more practice i guess.. the problem is singing isn't my focus. i love singing, enjoy singing but not for a competition. i'll sing when i praise the Lord in church or in my daily devotional time. my experience is really personal.. :) however, God knows that i dont hate singing, so He gave me chance to keep practicing my talent by getting me involved in a group. we,

Daily Scripture's Reflection: "God's Accepted Time"

Gambar
(Today’s lesson from 2 Corinthians 6 and the book of Ester) Today I learn something “amazing” about how God works through our prayer. It is written in 2 Cor 6:12 that God dwells among us..inside us as we are he temple of the living GOD. Can you imagine Haniva??? If God is living in you how cant He know all the things in your heart before you speak it out? He knows everything for He created your heart. 2 Corinthians talks about the day of salvation or the accepted time.. the time when God is acceptable... the time is now..not tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow.. it’s today. so i dont have to postpone the time when i want to come before Him, entering His presence, in His holiness.  J If I try to connect it with the story of Ester, i find such a precise point that is really amazing to be learnt about God’s timing; “When Ester prayed, God didn’t answer her right away.. why? Doesn’t He say that the accepted time is today? in everything we ask Jesus teaches us to pray “Let your will b

Wind Beneath Haniva's Wings

Gambar
Wind beneath my wings... it's one of my fav songs.. it's one of the old songs, evergreen songs. i always have reasons for things that i like, including songs.. i haven't listened to this song for almost 2 year since my computer was broken. thank God, few days ago i recalled this song and decided to download it. so, tonight i spend my time listening to this songs and the other "evergreen" songs such as "a long and lasting love, longer than, nothing's gonna change my love for you, etc". listening to old songs is interesting. you can really enjoy it..just try *my suggestion* lol btw, lets go back to the main reason i write this post. yeah i wanna share the reasons i love the song "wind beneath my wings". i remember the first time i knew this song. it was by a coincidence as i went to Steffi's house (one of my best friends--my girls) and saw his father's old songs' collection. my eyes were captured by the word "evergree
